Personal Project: Growth
I procedurally did the brambles in Houdini and I set up the UVs allowing the textures to pan along the meshes. I generated the textures in Substance Designer. I built the shader in Unreal Engine generating some gradients to make the branches appear first and then the spikes as well. I also used a linear gradient for animating the world position offset during the growth. I spawn the particles through Niagara.
